SPECIAL MEETING – July 28, 2022
A Special Meeting was called to order by Chair Rusk at 9:10 a.m. for the purpose of the opening Crack Sealing bids and Rick & Angela Busch driveway. Present were Laura Rusk, Kay Ryan, Jim Dier and Gary Klein.
Bids for CRACK SEALING were submitted by Scott Construction, Fahrner Asphalt and Roy’s Sealcoating. Bids were open and discussed.
MOTION: Moved by Dier; 2nd Rusk to approve Roy’s Sealcoating bid in the amount of $32,870.00 contingent on honoring the 4-year warranty stated on the bid; Ryan opposed; motion carried.
Rick Busch was present to discuss his DOUBLE DRIVEWAYS. Laura told him he cannot use both driveways and that one would have to be blocked off. Rick stated the driveway was there since the house was built in 2008. He also, said there are other residence that have 2 driveways in the Town of Hunter.
Statewide told him no other permits were required when they paved his driveway and asked if the Town of Hunter would grant him a variance that would allow him to use both driveways.
No decision was made at this time until more questions are answered.
The meeting ended at 10:20 a.m.
