MONTHLY BOARD MEETING – December 9, 2015
Chairman Laura Rusk called the Board of Supervisors meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.; all members present.
The minutes of the November 11, 2015 Board meeting were approved as presented on a motion from Lee Wilmsen; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried. The minutes of the November 10, 2015 Special Road Tour Meeting were approved as presented by Laura Rusk; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.

ROAD REPORT – continuing to clean ditches and cut down problem trees. Readied all equipment for snowplowing and fixed driveway trucks from previous damage.
ELECTION INSPECTORS Jackie Eckerly, Jim Dier, Marion Dier, Vickie Schlipper, Sue Metcalf, Dianna Whetstone and Donna Lessard were approved for 2016 & 2017 on a motion from Laura Rusk; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
Laura Rusk made a motion to approve 8 more SNOWPLOW CONTRACTS for a total of 178; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
SNOWPLOW PERSONNEL – Laura stated that Ty Sauder plans on plowing this winter season. Bill Porter will ride with someone else to learn the International and also plow driveways. Doug Kurtzweil suggested Hank Narus as an alternate driver because he has his CDL License.
The Clerk presented and ordinance to allow split shifts on election days. Laura Rusk made a motion to approve ORDINANCE NO. 2015-03 ESTABLISH SPLIT SHIFTS; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
Doug Kurtzweil was asked to explain ASSEMBLY BILL 582 which significantly limits the ability to provide for public health, safety, and welfare through reasonable regulation; and, it provides for unfair taxation. All board members were asked to e-mail or send a letter asking our legislators to oppose AB582.
Kay Ryan made a motion to APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS AND PAYROLL for checks #16024 to #16038 from 11/12/2015 to 12/09/2015 for a total expenditure of $26,219.00.12; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
