MONTHLY BOARD MEETING – December 11, 2024

Chair Laura Rusk called the Board of Supervisors meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.; present were Laura Rusk, Mark Phillips, Cindy Gutsch and Patty Swaffield.  Dennis present via Teleconference.

Agenda was accepted as is.

The November 11, 2024 Monthly Board Meeting minutes were reviewed.

MOTION: Moved by Phillips; 2nd by Clagett to approve the minutes as presented; all in favor by a 3-0 vote; motion carried.

Treasures report was reviewed; no changes were heard; Treasurers report approved.
ROAD REPORT:  All gravel roads were graded before freeze up; filled pot holes and shouldered where needed; worked around the shop getting equipment ready for plowing; plowed and sanded once.

NEW BUSINESS:
Laura Rusk reported an update on the SAWYER COUNTY CHAIRS ORGANIZATION.  They are looking to add an ambulance service in this area for a more central location.  The town of Round Lake offered land for the project.

The Tigercat Flowage and Town of Round Lake created an informational packet of Local and State laws and Ordinances.  Dennis Clagett presented it at the recent PARTNERS GROUP MEETING. It was agreed that this would be a good project for the Lake Chippewa Flowage Resort Association and the Town of Hunter.

THE LAKES FORUM is being put back together.
 
MOTION: Moved by Rusk; 2nd by Phillips to APPROVE PAYMENT OF DISBURSEMENTS AND PAYROLL for the period of 11/14/2024 to 12/11/2024; all in favor by a 3-0 vote; motion carried. Total expenditures were $154,413.63.
