ROAD REPORT – serviced Front-end Loader, Brushing Tractor & International.  Contacted Monarch Paving and the DNR in regards to Woodland Drive project.  Started cutting down problem trees in ditches.

ZONING – Sawyer County sent 2 proposed ordinance amendments:  Kay Ryan made a motion with a  2nd by Laura Rusk to approve the modification of 17.4 A-Agricultural One District ordinance.

The other amendment has to do with Short Term Rental.  An ad-hoc committee was formed to make changes to 6.11 Tourist Rooming House ordinance.  Anyone renting a dwelling for less than 30 days will have to comply with all the State and local rules and they will now need to apply for a Special Use Permit.  The permit will be presented to the Municipality for approval then the Sawyer County Zoning Administrator will issue the permit.  This would be in place of getting a conditional Use Permit.  All other conditions renters will have to comply with in this ordinance can be seen at the Clerk’s office or Sawyer County Zoning.   Kay Ryan made a motion to support the 6.11 tourist Rooming House Ordinance changes; 2nd Jim Dier; motion carried.

The Board discussed the Monarch Paving BID FOR WOODLAND DRIVE.  Option 1 was for wedge & overlay and shouldering for $98,000 and option 2 was for pulverize & pave and shouldering for $177,800.  The Board will get more bids on this project and it will be submitted to the Local Roads Improvement Project for partial reimbursement.

There are small trees on RIVER ROAD on the Brubaker property that need to be cut down.  Someone will contact the owner to let them know our plan and offer the wood from the trees to them.

The Board gave the go ahead to purchase 1,300 gallons of propane from FERRELLGAS in the amount of $.999 per gallon.

The NO ATV sign was again taken from Dun Rovin Road.  Kay said the ATV Club will get 2 more signs and put one on the intersection of Forest Road 319 and snowmobile trail #3 going west and one at Dun Rovin Road and County Road B.
