MONTHLY BOARD MEETING – July 12, 2017

Chair Laura Rusk called the Board of Supervisors meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.; all members present.

The minutes of the June 14, 2017 Board meeting were approved as presented by Jim Dier; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.  A motion to accept the June 29, 2017 Special Meeting was made by Jim Dier; 2nd Laura Rusk; motion carried.

The Treasures report was approved as presented by Kay Ryan; 2nd Jim Dier; motion carried.

ROAD REPORT – Reid is in the process of mowing town roads, pushing trees back from recent storms and filling in wash out areas.

An amendment to ORDINANCE NO. 2017-02 to include ATV/UTV travel on Sandy Point and Gardner Roads was approved on a motion from Jim Dier; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.

An amendment to ORDINANCE NO. 2011-02 to change the number of permanent buoys by The Landing Resort was approved on a motion from Laura Rusk; 2nd Jim Dier; motion carried.

Jim Dier talked to Mark Zich about an EMAIL BLAST PROGRAM from Mail Chimp.  It will be used to advise property owners on various matters.  A request for emails will be included in the Tax Payer letter at year end.

Laura Rusk made a motion with a 2nd by Kay Ryan to approve the BOARD OF REVIEW POLICY on procedure for sworn telephone or sworn written testimony requests.

Laura Rusk made a motion with a 2nd by Jim Dier to approve the BOARD OF REVIEW POLICY for waiver of Board of Review hearing requests.

BARTENDER LICNESES for Nancy DeMarr and Jacob Throne were approved on a motion from Laura Rusk; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.

A TEMPORY PICNIC LICENSE for CFAPOA for August 6, 2017 at Deer Run Resort was approved on a motion from Jim Dier; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.

Laura reported that we are not eligible for BIA dollars for the repairs on Flowage Road.  If approved, the Wisconsin DOT covers up to 75% of the total cost.

Kay Ryan made a motion to APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS AND PAYROLL for checks #16375 to #16385 & electronic payments from 06/15/2017 to 07/12/2017 for a total expenditure of $17,844.95; 2nd Jim Dier; motion carried.

The Chair announced the meeting is adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
