Chair Laura Rusk called the Board of Supervisors meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.; present were Laura Rusk, Mark Phillips, Dennis Clagett, Cindy Gutsch and Patty Swaffield.
The July 10, 2024 Monthly Board Meeting minutes and the July 17, 2024 Special Meeting minutes were reviewed: no changes were heard; minutes approved.

ROAD REPORT: Gary cleaned up trees after a storm; mowed ditches; working on putting up steel around exterior of hall; finished voting machine box.
The 2024 BUDGET was reviewed.
Frandsen Bank made an offer for a Line of Credit in the amount of $250,00 to $280,000 for the River Road project. The Line of Credit is to cover expenses until we get the grant money from the DOT.
MOITON: Moved by Clagett; 2nd by Phillips to approve RESOLUTION NO. 2024-02 LINE OF CREDIT at Frandsen Bank for $250,000; all in favor; motion carried.
A letter to Andy Albarado from the Sawyer County Unit of the Wisconsin Town Association was prepared asking that COUNTY ZONING SEND MUNICIPALITES ZONING CHANGES ON A MORE TIMELY BASIS. The letter was presented at the Unit meeting in Sand Lake on July 29; all that were in attendance agreed.
MOTION: Moved by Rusk; 2nd by Clagett to have an official endorsement of the letter submitted to the Sawyer County Unit of the Wisconsin Towns Association regarding the timeliness of zoning; all in favor; motion carried.
MOTION: Moved by Clagett; 2nd by Phillips to TRANSFER THE EQUIPMENT FUND BALANCE OF $60,000 TO THE HIGHWAY FUND; all in favor; motion carried.
MOTION: Moved by Phillips; 2nd by Rusk to APPROVE PAYMENT OF DISBURSEMENTS AND PAYROLL for the period of 07/11/2024 to 08/14/2024. Total expenditures were $77,658.01; all in favor; motion carried.
