AFTER-THE-FACT VARIANCE #26-010 was presented for Rick Marks for an addition of a detached accessory structure onto an existing non-conforming 24’x24’ garage.
Rick was present and explained why he did not have a permit for this addition. There were 14 opinion letters sent to the neighboring property owners; 1 came back with no objection and 1 came back with an objection.
MOTION: Moved by LeBlanc; 2nd by Cummings that the Town Board approve the Rick Marks after-the-fact Variance #26-010; all in favor on a 3-0 vote; motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
BONDING THE TREASURER during the tax collection period from late December through February would cost an extra $500 to $600. The Board decided to leave Ordinance No. 2025-04 in place that exempts us from bonding the Treasurer during this time. The Treasurer is already bonded for the entire year.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Assessor, Cindy Chase, wanted to be sure we had all the old assessment records from Doug Kurtzweil. The Clerk sent an email to Doug asking if he had any records that he had not given us. Doug did not answer, but his son Ben Kurtzweil emailed and said the flash drive that he gave us had all the old records. Cindy did drop off a box of old paper assessment records that Doug gave her, so we hopefully have everything now.
The Fee amount wording in the RECORDS ACCESS FEES ORDINACNE No. 2021-02 needs to be updated. The Ordinance update will be approved at a later meeting.
Discontinuing .37 MILES OF FLETCHER ROAD and .14 MILES OF PINES 2 ROAD was discussed. The Board decided that we should keep Fletcher Road and continue maintaining it.
MOTION: Moved by Cummings; 2nd by Czarnecki to discontinue Pines Road .14 miles form the inventory; all in favor on a 3-0 vote; motion carried.
The meeting ended at 7:00 p.m.
Patricia R. Swaffield, Clerk
