TOWN OF HUNTER
SAWYER COUNTY, WISCONSIN
SEASONAL WEIGHT LIMITATIONS
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-01
The Town Board of the Town of Hunter, Sawyer County, Wisconsin, by this resolution, adopted by a majority of the town board on a roll call vote with a quorum present and voting and proper notice having been given, resolves and orders as follows:
WHEREAS, Section 349.16(1)(a), Wis. Statues allows the County to impose special weight limitations on any such highway or portion thereof which, because of weakness of the roadbed due to deterioration or climatic conditions or other special or temporary condition, would likely be seriously damaged or destroyed in the absence of such special limitations,
WHEREAS, a municipality is also allowed to impose such weight limits to their roads,
THEREFORE, the Town of Hunter does hereby resolve to impose the weight restrictions during the same period designated by Sawyer County each year.
The Town Clerk shall properly post or publish this resolution as required under
