MONTHLY BOARD MEETING – October 14, 2015
Chairman Laura Rusk called the Board of Supervisors meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.; all members present.
The minutes of the September 9, 2015 Board meeting were approved as presented on a motion from Kay Ryan; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried. The minutes of the September 15, 2015 Special Meeting were approved on a motion from Laura Rusk; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.

Kay Ryan made a motion to approve the Treasures report as presented; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
ROAD REPORT – finished rating roads for WISLR; International truck had more recalls; mowing and brushing continues; checking driveways of snowplow contracts sent in so far; training Reid Miller.
ZONING – a motion from Lee Wilmsen and 2nd by Kay Ryan was made to approve the Sawyer County proposed ordinance amendment to change #61 Major Recreational Equipment/Vehicles from “park model mobile home” to “park model trailer” of Section 2.0 Definitions and to add a definition of a park model trailer. Also, to add “park model trailers” to the definitions in Section 6.6; motion carried.
Ron and Dede Eckman submitted a complaint regarding garbage around the Timberlake Lodge property. Ron said the dumpsters do not have a secure lid and the bears are constantly spreading garbage all over his property and in the woods. And there is a considerable amount of other debris laying around the property. The Board will talk to Republic about supplying a metal covered dumpster and ask the owner to move his dumpster to the other side of his property and talk about disposing of the junk metal.
The Clerk presented ORDINANCE NO. 2015-02 that amends Ordinance No. 2009-01 Authorizing Alternative Claims Procedure. Ordinance No. 2015-02 was approved on a motion from Laura Rusk; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.
Resolutions 2007-04 & 2012-01 pertaining the RECYCLING GRANT AUTHORIZAION have been replaced by Resolution No. 2012-03 and Resolutions 2001-01 & 2012-02 pertaining to the ANNUAL SPRING CLEANUP is obsolete. These 4 four Resolutions were rescinded on a motion from Laura Rusk; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
The Clerk asked for some type of compensation for RON KLIMCKE for the work he did on our computers. Laura Rusk made a motion to purchase a gift certificate for Ron; 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.
The issue of ALLOWING CAMPING TRAILERS TO REMAIN ON A PROPERTY DURING HOME CONSTRUCTION was discussed. Sawyer County Zoning said the Board can decide case by case. There should be a sanitary permit and a fire # if a trailer is being used as a primary residence. Lee Wilmsen made a motion that each property owner must stay in compliance with any permits necessary and have a fire # in order for a camping trailer to remain on their property: 2nd Kay Ryan; motion carried.
There is a RODENT PROBLEM in the building during the fall. The Board will look into finding an exterminator.
Laura Rusk made a motion to APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS AND PAYROLL for checks #15961 to #15995 from 09/10/2015 to 10/14/2015 for a total expenditure of $16,614.72; 2nd Lee Wilmsen; motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m. on a motion from Kay Ryan; 2nd Lee Wilmsen motion carried.
