Chair Laura Rusk called the Board of Supervisors meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.; present were Laura Rusk, Jim Dier, Dennis Clagett, Cindy Gutsch & Patty Swaffield.
The May 10, 2023 Monthly Board Meeting minutes, the May 23, 2023 Road Tour minutes and June 2, 2023 Special Meeting Minutes were reviewed; no changes were heard; minutes approved.

Treasures report was reviewed; no changes were heard; Treasurers report approved.
ROAD REPORT: Gary blew all sand off roads from winter sanding; fixed a culvert and installed one on Hemlock Haven Road from Spring washout; chipping brush from winter ice storm; ditching on Tiger Musky Road. Tiger Musky Road was pulverized and gravel is being hauled; project is moving along as planned.
OLD BUSINESS:
Kathy LaReau presented additional information on the ATV Alliance’s request to open up County Road B from County Road CC to Forest Road 319. She stated that the survey they conducted of the residence on County B was 86% positive. She asked for the Board to consider opening up B.
It was suggested that Hunter and a couple people from the Alliance get together to discuss alternate trails from the requested route on County Road B.
MOTION: Moved by Dier; 2nd by Clagett to open up County Road S for ATV/UTV travel from County Road B to the Round Lake town line; all in favor; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Clerk reviewed the YEAR-TO-DATE FINANCIALS; disbursements and revenues.
MOTION; Moved by Dier; 2nd Clagett to approve LIQUOR LICENSES from the period of July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 for Big Musky Bar, LLC, Blueberry Lake Oasis, Inc., Blueberry Hill Resort & Campground, Inc, Mikesh, Inc., Deer Run Resort, LLC, W&R resorts, Inc., Indian Trails Resort, Inc., Big Fish, Inc., LCO Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, Noyce Enterprises, Inc., DeJoode Enterprises, Inc., Outlaw Saloon, LLC, Pinewood Properties, LLC, Tiger Musky Resort, Inc., Treeland Cottages, Inc.; all in favor; motion carried.
Jim Dier met with Rick Kizlik from Hill Construction to look at the deterioration on the outside of the TOWN HALL & GARAGE. Rick felt they could spray insulation and replace damaged panels. He will attend the July meeting for further discussion.
MOTION: Moved by Dier; 2nd Clagett to APPROVE PAYMENT OF DISBURSEMENTS AND PAYROLL for checks #17770 to #17791, electronic payments and account transfers from 05/11/2023 to 06/14/2023 for a total expenditure of $44,625.09; all in favor; motion carried.
